Philip Coble: 12 Years, 4,000 Customers, 85% Reorder Rate
The long version of how I got into solo ads, why I stopped trusting almost every vendor in the space, and how I ended up building three businesses to fix the problems no one else would.
2014: Getting Burned Early
I started buying solo ads in 2014 as an affiliate marketer in the make-money-online niche. I had a squeeze page, a decent autoresponder sequence, and a budget I couldn't afford to lose. Like almost every beginner, I trusted the wrong vendors first. My clicks came in. My opt-ins looked fine. Nothing bought.
After a few thousand dollars burned on recycled leads, bot traffic, and vendors who ghosted me the second the order shipped, I stopped buying and started studying. I learned what real click patterns look like, what fake ones look like, and how to read a tracker instead of a vendor's screenshot.
Becoming a Seller
Once I could tell the difference between real and fake traffic, I built my own list the slow way — content, media buys, and honest solo swaps. That list became the foundation of PhilSoloAds, my direct solo ad business. I sold my first clicks in 2016 and the reorder rate told me I was doing something right.
Selling changed how I saw the industry. Most vendors don't have a real list. They resell someone else's traffic, take a margin, and pray the buyer doesn't check. I decided early I wasn't going to run that way.
Building PulseTrack
The tracking tools available to solo ad buyers were either too simple or too easy to fake. So I built PulseTrack — a click tracker with fraud detection built in. It flags proxy traffic, VPN clicks, repeat IPs, and the behavioral patterns real buyers don't have. Buyers use it to catch bad vendors. Vendors use it to prove their traffic is clean.
Launching PulseTraffic
PulseTraffic came out of a frustration I kept hearing from buyers: even honest vendors have inconsistent traffic quality week to week. PulseTraffic is my answer — verified, filtered traffic delivered through a platform that actually shows you what you're paying for, before and after the click.
It's the platform I wish I had in 2014. If you're going to buy solo ads, buy them somewhere that gives you the tracking, filtering, and vendor transparency the marketplace models refuse to.
The Numbers
Across PhilSoloAds, PulseTrack, and PulseTraffic, I've served over 4,000 customers. The reorder rate sits around 85%. In this industry that number is not normal — most vendors are lucky to hit 20% because most traffic doesn't convert. Repeat buyers are the only honest metric in solo ads.
Why I'm Not a Guru
I don't sell courses. I don't run masterminds. I don't post income screenshots. Everything I share on SoloAdsGuide comes from spending real money on real campaigns and running platforms that thousands of buyers use every month. If a tactic is here, I've tested it. If I haven't tested it, I say so.
The goal of this site is simple: help you buy solo ads without getting burned the way I was, and point you to the tools that actually work.
